*trouble converting .avi to mpeg4 * - PSP-Forum.com

I recently got my PSP slim with firmware 3.6. I downloaded PSP video 9 and attempted to convert the .avi files to mpeg-4 files. The decoding seemed to go fine. when I loaded the files on my psp it did not recognise them.

any ideas?? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
