Than i dont think there will be any problem of playing them on the psp as the New PSP are supporting the MP4 Format of the songs and videos. If you still get a problem than go to the hubpages, they have an whole article named "How to download music to PSP" on there site.

Default you need a converter

As PSP support MP4 file, you may find a converter to convert your music video to MP4 to have a try.

I have used this PSP converter which could convert music video and dvd to PSP video in a high quality.
