Hi bamhm182.
The portable HD enclosure is rechargeable.
Not too good, though. Lasts about 1.5 hrs.
Still, that's quite alot of transfers. I don't like it to go below 1 bar, as I dread to think what would happen halfway thru a transfer !!
The enclosure cost me £82 + delivery. I can'r remember what delivery was. Say £6. So about $175 ? !
The 80gb Toshiba laptop HD I put in it cost me £60. Can't remember delivery charge. May have been free. And of course HD's, like memory, are cheaper now. Search for 'RAPSODY S25'. I'm sure they are available in the US.

:lol: I wanted one untill you said that it was $175, that's EXPENSIVE! I'm just going to wait till they come out with 20+ GB memory sticks to upgrade.
