Kernel Kev, apologies. I use kernel divisions at work ( kernel divs) and lapsed into workspeak without rereading your tag. Funny now I read it again, but not what was intended mate.
Thanks to all for the comments. You are right, pirate software is worthless. But a fair proportion of the stuff(nearly all the 33 films) were converted by myself from my dvd's. Same with some of the 80 + games. Guess I was trying to recoup all that legwork !! For those of you who are at ease doing all this, it may seem overpriced. Hardware alone was over £300, and this combined with everything on the HD, in place and ready to go, was the selling point. Don't want to turn this into a turn-by-turn cuss-you-down thread , like so many I read these days. Just a little advert selling my PSP stuff. |

Ok a missunderstanding gone on there, appologies for the short temperness
Anyways, in value the HDD content is worthless, in time... maybe not. But as i dont have much use for such large storage i dont see it worth the money. I mean if it was real cheap then i would buy for the hell of it, but i already have a psp. Im going on a bit now so i will shut up  Kev 8)

Errr.... yes, that's what this is. This is an 80GB HDD, which can be used with a PSP. It allows you to browse the memstick, and transfer stuff both ways between itself and memstick. Delete the game in the ISO folder using the HDD menu. copy a new game from the HD into the ISO folder. In approx 2 minutes. Then disconnect the HD and play your game. Connect it up, change the game, disconnect and play. It took me 1 go to do this, without the manual. Anyway............... |

After literally a couple of minutes of transferring, I put my HD away. I am left playing a new game, film, whatever, with just the PSP, off the memstick. I dunno, I thought it was a very versatile solution when I got it. Nowadays, it gets much less use, as the new car has DVD player with 3 screens and a gamecube, which keeps the kids happy, and my company rarely send me away for weeks at a time, so no more staring at hotel room walls wondering how to use my time. I had difficulty selling this on the 'bay, as people were mystified as to what it did exactly ( untold questions about devhook, OTG, etc ). probably even more confusion here though!! Keep posting people, I'm having a slack day at work ! |

I agree, i wouldnt mind spending a few minutes transferring data. Movies, etc would keep me happy for hours. Only problem is carrying the many batteries needed. lol
£200 for all of it. PSPs you can get like £80 on ebay, 1 gig sticks are about £15 tops, dont know about the hard drive though. If i didnt have a psp already i think i would consider it. Hows about the HDD alone? Kev 8)

I usually carry about 3 barreries for my PSP, that'd be cool if they took those, but they probably take double A or something, I'd just buy a like 80 pack and carry them around in my backpack.
How much did you buy the case for? or did you buy both the case and HDD together? |
