PSP S&L Model confusion - PSP-Forum.com

Was about to buy a new PSP Slim & Lite today for Christmas, but got confused then when I had the choice of either the PSP S&L 2000 IS model or the PSP S&L 2006 IS model? I see everywhere on the net the PSP's are 2000IS models, so what is the 2006 IS model? Sorry, I live in Bangkok so the assistant wasn't all that helpful. & she said the manual that came with the 2000 IS model isn't in english!? Thanks guys. If it's just a REGION thing that's fine. Cheeeeers!!! All guessing welcome.

what you mean by 2000 IS model and 2006 IS model?? btw there is only one psp lite and slim out....they just come in different colors!! silver, white, and piano black....

Ok... the 2006 model is actually just a region thing. It's South Asia's PSP Slim & Lite, (region 3). I should get the Japan version as that's region 2, & I come from europe & we're region 2. Ok.... Thanks.
