And I thank you for that, so are Bam and Ryder from this forum and lots of others, so I think I'll be alright.

Yeah, besides, I'll have a reason to play my PS3 in a little while, when Guitar Hero 3 comes out. I'm going to buy the guitar for it, than buy Guitar Hero 1 and Rock the 80's.

Sounds cool. Does anyone know if the Guitar/s from Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 are compatible with each other and Guitar Hero 1 & 2 for the PS2?

They should be. You can't use the 360 guitars on the PS3 obviously, but you should be able to get the PS3 one and play the first 2 Guitar Heros.

My backing behind that thought is that with the 360, you're going to be able to use the GH II controller w/ GH III and vice versa, why would it be different for the PS3?

I dont think it would be any different for GH3 on the 360. Unless they want to be greedy gits and make one slight change so everyone has to buy another £30 guitar.

It would be... think about it, can you connect the 360's controller to the PS3? No, you can't, obviously, so why would you be able to connect the GH III 360 Guitar to the PS3?

EDIT: Just for proof, I plugged my GH II Guitar into the PS3, it says it's an unrecognized device.
