Default Hey there

Hey, Adamaniac 791 here. I have had a PSP since the UK launch back in 2005 and have enjoyed using it ever since. I have the 32mb memory stick that came in the Value Pack, a 512mb Sandisk PRO duo and a 2gb Sony PRO duo to store all of my stuff on. Although I have had my PSP for quite a considerable amount of time I only have 9 games, those being:

Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror,
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops,
Metal Gear Ac!d,
Metal Gear Ac!d 2,
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories,
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories,
Burnout Legends,
Pursuit Force,
TOCA Race Driver 2.

Out of these I would have to say that Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror is my favourite, it is the perfect showcase of what PSP games should and can be. Controls, graphics, sound, gameplay - it has the lot. Also you can probably tell that I am quite the Metal Gear fan as a third of my PSP game library consists of Metal Gear games.

I never bothered with UMD movies, I didn't see the point when DVD's are cheaper and contain more features, plus you can rip a DVD to a memory stick and play a movie that way on the PSP anyway.

I relatively recently took the plunge and downgraded my PSP to upgrade to DarK AleX's 3.10 OE-A custom firmware and I am very glad I did. Since I did that I have been using my PSP for emulation of PS1 games, Gameboy (color) games and Amiga games, the latter of which has bought back many good memories from long ago. Plus Turrican is awesome. I also use the SVcapture screenshot module which has come in quite handy. I don't use my PSP to play pirated ISO's, I prefer to support the developers by paying for my PSP games.

Aside from these activities I also use my PSP to play music.

Anyway I was looking around for a PSP related site and came across this place. I look forward to posting.

Hehe, cheers. I figured if I was making an introduction thread I may as well actually introduce myself more thoroughly rather than just say "hi". 8)

VCS is a great game, don't get me wrong on that, it's just that the terrible glitches kind of detract from the overall enjoyment of it.
