Hi! I'm new around here...
|
Just to say iv been browsing this site for a few days and it looks great - all the questions that i had when i bought my psp have been answered and iv had nufin really to post about. The psp is a class little system - i paid 300 for mine and it is best 300 quid iv spent in a long while.
What i will ask is tho, if anybody can help me please, where can i buy games off the internet from - as im from england, the shop i bought my psp from only has a limited amount of stock and they are all about 10 grand! thanks very much! ![]()

Maybe he doesn't want to be scammed. Try www.gbax.com - they are based in the UK.

So what is the going rate for a PSP in the UK? is £300 about the norm? I can remember a small outfit in London that catters for the more exotic and rare games machines. I know that they used to sell Lynx games before the system was available in the UK. I wonder if they are still going. Sorry I cannot remember their name but if they are still about they would deffo be on the net somewhere. Des  |

no, i just dislike using e-bay. dont ask why, i just wudnt trust posting £40 quid through the post to a stranger, so i wudnt do it over the net. i only trust businesses really...
Thanks pagnall, that site looks ace - think i might use that in future maybe. i bought wipeout today and again it is proving how good the psp is. thanks juggler, really, i payed £299 for me psp with 2 games and a 32mb memory stick. the games in the nearest place to me are £42 each (all titles are this price) this is in birkenhead. i had a little look for that site you mentioned but i couldnt really find nothing. all it comes up with is Amazon - they charge you a lot extraor yahoo shopping which only had 2 games listed. I guess out of easyness, il just have to keep going with the £42 games for the time being. Im told tho that my american psp will run english games. i hope this is right.

Hiya Gav,
Apparently games are not regional coded like DVD's or UMD films so you should be ok with games from anypart of the world. I have tried to remember that company but I am afraid that I cannot remember it at all,,, sorry. Do you get any of the consol magazines in the UK??? I am sure some companies would have started advertising the PSP games by now and perhaps they would be a little cheaper. I must admit that I would have bought a PSP for £300 quid no worries and the games as I just adore this little gizmo. Best of luck in the search for cheaper games mate.
