There's an app. it looks just like the windows live. I'll find the link than post it, I think it was on QJ. It's a web app (not homebrew), so you can stick with whatever FW, you've got now.

All you have to do is go to www.ebuddy.com on the psp and sign in...hahaha I`m on my psp right now...

worked fine for me, remember, even though in the password field there are ****'s there, doesn't mean your password is saved, you gotta type it in each time you sign on
