rallying has got to be more fun than aquathingying, be too scared of breaking down and sinking.
There is a HUGE forest (100's of miles of tracks) near where I live, and me and my mates hobby is sometimes to go splits on a £100 car (micra's rule!) and just rag it around the forest for a week or so before taking the car to a quarry, do a few jumps and off-road trials in it before killing it (burn it, drop it into a pool, crash it and abandon it etc.)
most fun you will have in a week.

That sounds pretty fun. Too bad there's no were around here to do that kind of stuff.

lol, north wales is the god of off road, my mate has got a Suzuki Samurai 4X4 (with a soft top), and his dad works on a mountain where we can go off-roadin (acres & acres & acres).
Having the roof off on a sunny day is amazing!

my brother has got a KTM 250 sumthing or other, I'll have a go at that sumtimes but crossers haven't really interested me enough to get one, quads I love but haven't really riden them much apart from on holidays and on my unkles one (when he was alive).

I'm more interested in mountain bikes ATM, go down steep hills fast, do some jumps and get some exercise!

This is my bike ..

i love it

and then once you get to the top, slip it to top gear and lace it down the hill! there are a few MTB trails around here that offer some fast fun.
I want to go for a riding holiday to whistler one day.

Ooh, nice bike! I like going on trails with my bike too (only have walking/biking trails in the woods here. Not enough space to drive, lol).

Here's what my bike sort of looks like:

The pic's small, but it's a Specialized Fuse BMX bike. It's a mother to ride uphill, but it's great for going off of jumps. Mine's a little different looking than that one. I bought different handlebars and a set of pegs for the other side since it only had one pair. I also put some front brakes on it. Mines a darker red color (maroonish). It's a blast to ride.

Last month I bought an English Racing style bike, looks a bit like this (except mine has a lot more spokes):

I kind of grew out of the whole BMX thing, but I can still get some air and pull a long ass wheelie, and a little flatland. This bike is worth giving BMX up though. I put a speedometer on it and my max speed so far was 40.1 MPH!! (64 KPH) It gets me to work in no time at all.
