Default Hey

Hey,

I'm new here. Just wanted to drop in an say 'Hi'.

I've had a PSP for a while. I bought it when it came out, so I think I'll be upgrading the firmware sometime soon.

Just one question:
How do you upgrade firmware? Do you buy it as a UMD or is it a download? (And which is the best version to upgrade to?)

Welcome, to upgrade firmware go to sony's website. you'll need a usb cord to do it. thats the easiest way to do it.

Thanks. Kinda makes me wonder why I haven't checked for any software updates since I got it. Right now I'm running 1.50.

Well, I've succesfully installed 2.70. Thanks.

Yeah, I was aware that I couldn't install homebrew on it after downloading it, but I couldn't find any other versions. I wasn't planning on anything homebrew anyway.
