Default NooB here! Saying Hello and some questions

Hey everyone, mine name is Allan and I just ordered my PSP, I also ordered a 2gb memory card, a spare battery, and the new NFS game.

I've downloaded Video 9, Home Brew 9 and the WinPortal thing.

I plan on checking out which version I have of the PSP and I'm guessing i'll be downgrading to 1.5.

I basically want to watch videos on the PSP, listen to music and play games and browse the web. I think I have everything I need.

Let me know what you guys think and please link me to anything helpful.

Thanks
Allan

Welcome to the forum

Downgrade to 1.5 if you willing to use homebrew. But stay IMO with 2.0 if you want to browse the web. (And remember that new games require newer firmware).

im guessing its possible to browse the web with out the homebrew, as long as I have that winportal thing right.
