HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GOOD CHRISTMAS
Decided to join this morning. I have already picked up plenty to keep me going after browsing all the topics but decided to join to give a bit back! I hope I am not too old (30). I'm probably more at home with Gauntlet, the ATARI 2600 or the early ATARI computer (800XL)! Anyway I am on with transferin some dvd classics onto his 1GB pro duo at the mo. Some teethin trouble as I forgot to note down the destination of the vid files. Hes been playin lib city so I know hes got version 2.1 so no homebrew yet (I want gauntlet!) but as mentioned I'm on with the movies first. Catch yer all some time!

Then used PSPvideo9 to convert vid files to MP4 and also to transfer to PSP via usb connection. After chopping out all the extras, foriegn subtitles and unwanted chapters (credits, advertisments etc) I was left with five vid files/dvd chapters. These in turn took about 30 mins on average depending on length to convert! The film I was converting was 2 hours 50 mins long and I ended up not being able to fit the full film on my 1GB pro duo which had 955kb free space. I learnt a lot tryin and plan on having another go soon as I am back at work now. I have a feelin my hard drive is near full and need to free up space by transferin stuff over to my 250GB external hard drive. This might make it run quicker. Thanks for the reply anyway mate.

THANKS FOR ALL THE WELCOMES
While visiting my sister and brother in law for the new year celebrations I had another go at getting vid clips to the psp. My 2 nephews and 2 nieces had also got a psp to share and they have been enjoyin liberty city and fifa 06 but hadnt watched any video yet. I downloaded pspvid9 for them onto there comp and then converted some video clips of the comedian LEE EVANS and transfered onto their psp. It all went smoothly and as their computer has a lot more free space on the hard drive I think it could be that which is making mine run slow and for a first attempt with the 3 hour film that I was trying I might have been a bit over ambitious. I think I may have cracked it though now so as soon as I can tidy up my hard drive (Or better still, persuade the other half that I deserve a new comp!) I will be trying again with my sons psp. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
