Hey people. My PSP just came this morning! It's gone away to Santa now tho. Just had chance to check for dead pixels and stuff, looks sweet to me. Had it imported from Hong Kong...£181 all in! I thought that was pretty awesome for a giga pack!

So it's version 2.5 (didn't know the firmware when I ordered it) and I'm wondering if 2.5 is likely to be cracked soon, if ever. I'm guessing it will be at some point, but I really wanna play Sonic and stuff on my sexeh new PSP!

yup read the faqs they help and 2.5 might be cracked they working on a downgrader right now and furthermore welcome

man, it must be annoying for everyone who will get their PSP for christmas from someone, and cant use it until then :evil:
its like " hey, I bought some candy for you, but you cant have it "

Think I'm going to make some backgrounds for my new toy. What's the res of the screen? Or at least, what res are background images displayed at?

Any1 have any suggestions for my first games. GTA LCS for given, but then I'm thinking Lumines and possible Burnout Legends, NFSU Rivals or NFS Most wanted. Suggestions?

Last question... What software can I use to convert DVD's to a format the PSP will play? Can you make the videos a decent quality?

It depends on what games you like to play??? I like Rivals and Most Wanted is awsome too. I hear SOCOM is really good cause you can play online with other people.
