Hello
Yello,
Just registered. Dont get my PSP till Monday! :evil:. However, can anyone help me in chosing a 1st game to get? I am currently torn between Merqury TOCA F1 Sim Colin McRae Lumines (or however you spell it!)  any advice or help on why I shouldnt or should get one of these (or any other) would be much appreciated!

Although it is not on your list, get Burnout Legends. It is much better than the other three racing games you have on there.

thanks for the tip. The reason I am thining of TOCA is that it has the original Nurburgring circuit - thats always gotta be good!
 I will decide nearer the time, its a shame they are all £35!!!

Coded arms is cool.. but finishes WAY too soon for my liking... a good sitting and a pizza and a beer see's it finished.

yeah but then you have infinity a level that basically never ends you can play that for awhile

well I got my PSP last Friday and bought TOCA2 and Lumines.
TOCA2: Its good, but a bit short. I have only played it off and on for a couple of days and I am almost 1/2 way complete (and when I say off and on - I mean more off than on). I get annoyed with Career mode as you dont get the option to qualify only get stuck in the race in a random grid slot. Its ok but not the game I had hoped. Lumines: Again good but not great. Not much more to say, its tetris but with better music. On reflection if I had to buy again, I may have gone for Merqury and a diffrent sim. but pretty good none the less

Lumines is GREAT.... takes a little bit of time to get into it but man it;s addictive... once you put it in and start playing you may as well kiss goodbye to a day.... I have lost nearly a whole transatlantic flight of airplane entertainment (yeah right) due to playing this game... I actually take this UMD out and hide it in the back of my disk box cause i know my life will just vanish when I plug this game in... oh and it's a hoot on two player mode... hectic or what.
But I guess it is down to personnel opinion so my views are not gonna be yours.... STILL IT IS A GREAT GAME... 8) Des :roll:
