Welcome to the forums!

I'm not sure if you can do that. As a matter of fact, there was a thread about this, and the conclusion was that no, you can't access your PC from a network.

There is an application that you can sync everything from a Mac to your PSP, but that's when it's connected to the computer. I'm not sure what that has to do with this topic, but it's a start.

actualy, you can acces your pc, well, kinda

theres 2 ways ive tried, i have apache server running on my computer and laptop. this means my computer and laptop are running as web servers, then into the folders on the computers i have put all my psp movies etc. i then just type http://192.168.2.2 or what ever my laptop/computers ip is and i get the folder list, cos theres no html file.

the other way is using winamp (yes, i did say winamp). there is a plugin for winamp that is called winamp web interface, which means you can use any computer of web browser from anywhere in the world as a remote for winamp. but also, it allows you to browse your music directory for tracks to play. if you set the directory to C:\ and allow all the file types to be viewed and downloaded, you can then browse your entire hard drive and download any file, it even allows you to add password protection to this option.

so you can access your computer, but you have to do it through http, as the psp doesnt support ftp.

http://www.apache.org

put all your psp stuff in a folder inside the C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache 2\htdocs folder. if you have a router, you will need to set up port forwarding or someting to access it from outside your wireless network (internet)

www.flippet.org/wawi/

this is actualy pretty cool just as a remote for winamp (especialy if you have wireless headfones too, like me), but the file access is easyer to set up than apache, but its a bit restrictive.

if anyone else knows of ways to allow http access to folders on your hard drive by directing signals through a certain port, post here too
