yeh if fifas anything like 08 it well be good, but im gonna put all my trust into PES in the hope that konami have pulled their finger out and brought it back to the elite football game its always been! plus they got uefa licencing now dont they?

Yep, PES has now got the UEFA Champions League license under their belt for 4 years.

I have always found that PES on the PSP has always been the superior out of the two footy games. But FIFA 09 on the PS3 is better than PES this year too me thinks.

**** aye... how have u found football games on the psp though? i woulda thought it would be too small, coz generally u need a decent size tv to work the plays etc ya know

oh you'll be surprised how good the screen fits. When you hold it its about a foot away from your face. When you sit infront of a 50'' tv. Your like 10 feet away. It works out to be prettty big

oh yeh. u know whats sweet, my first N64 game was international superstar soccer 64, back in like 1995 or something like that. for years it ruled my life as the best football game to ever come out on any platform, not even the second version of it was better. i stuck with the 64 for years then moved to xbox then the 360, always waiting for another release from konami but they never did, and i was stuck with ****house fifa for years.
it took me until 2007 to realise (somehow, dunno how its possible...) that there was an underground ****in scene. konami had actually been making and improving that original 64 game i owned and mastered for years, all completely unknown to me with a different title! when i discovered this i ****in kicked myself and bought the latest version immediately. although it had some glitches it was still way better than fifa, and since then my middle name has been changed to 'Pro-Evo'.

what the **** am i rambling on here about, i dunno....

but pro evo is the way forward, it is my shining light when all is dark, and soon it will be mine once again...
