ok, finally got it powered up to find i have 2.81 firmware

not quite sure what that means in the tech world but im working on it lol

Not sure if it is 2.52 or 3.52 from which you cant downgrade from. You should not upgrade any further and you should just install CFW (much better) if it is 3.52 ( dont think it is) then you dont even have to use pandoras only a downgrader Just look round the forum ( click Kevs sig ) and you will find out what version you need to use paandora from

thanks man, im still reading around to see what exactly this pandora thing is/what it does .

got home from work last night at like 12:30AM, played socomII for an hour or so, woke up, set up my wifi, then played some more .

browser on here is actually decent. only thing strange is the typing thing when you put an addy in, but its quick to get used to

haha thanks. thats good news (right? lol)

so if i install some sort of CFW, will that cause any other apps/games/accessories to NOT work? or will i retain full functionality of everything the psp can do OTB?
