Default New member but old guy

Good evening.
I've found myself in possession of a brand new silver PSP.
A gift from my wife. (yes, she's the best.)

I'm probably a little older than your average member. I'm 44.
My daughter has one of the original PSP's and I've always enjoyed playing.
I knew there would be a forum for PSP enthusiasts.
I'm also a member of a couple of forums related to watches (G Shocks) and an automotive forum for SRT's.

Hope you don't mind an old guy joining in.

No problems, the two other admins are old farts too lol.

Welcome. BTW, are you reffering to the viper srt-10. Or are there other srt model cars?

Hope not to disappoint but it's not the Viper.
Currently an SRT4. Good daily driver and quick to boot.
Hoping to "upgrade" when the Challenger hits production.

Thank you for the welcome.
I'll likely be spending quite a bit of time just reading everything I can to learn what I can do with the PSP.
Experience has taught me that the best place to learn about a device is from others who have one also.
And forums like this are good for just that.

Hoping that I may be able to contribute soon.

Welcome to the site.

Don't listen to these whipper snappers us origianl gamers need to stand up against these youngsters

I will translate what Kev was trying to say.... The other two Admins of the site (one being me and the other Paggers) are mature gamers as well. Paggers I believe is not as mature as myself but like you 1964 was a good year.

There is a site on the net for us original gamers to frequent that has banned all of these whipper snappers hahahahaha

All joking aside the guys are a good giggle and have lots og knowledge if you have any questions. We try to promote everyone for contribute to the site but if not your still welcome just as a reader. Main thing is to have fun.

Thanks, much appreciated.
I'm quite excited about seeing what this device can do.
As I stated earlier, it's one of the new "slim" versions.
Picked it up as a package with a 1gig mem stick and Daxter.
Any quirks I need to know about it? Anything in particular I need to do?
