I thought Mayweather just dominated. A few parts Hatton was trying to get in a few cheap shots on the back of the head. Agreed though that Hatton could have won like 2 more rounds of that. But in the 10th round it was all Mayweather knocking Hatton down twice. That nasty left that basically put Hatton away at the end. Mayweather's jabs are too much.

Yeah, that was a clean left moving away. I thought a lot of those rights that Mayweather landed were gonna knock Hatton down, but he was taking them pretty good.

Yea that's what they were saying. Hatton can take alot but they didn't know how much he would be able to take tonight if Mayweather played offensively.

Its a shame, i didnt want mayweather to win not just because im english and i back him, but because the american dude is really big-headed and i dont like that.

Sure, the best man won at the end of the day, well done to him for beating hatton.

We have a boxer here called amir kahn who is undefeated english lightweight champ ithink, but he is really big headed so i dont like him winning either.

Calzaghi (spelling lol) all the way, 15 years, undefeated, the man is a legend.

EDIT: oh and ROFL at the booing, how funny. Typical english lads, no respect hahaha.

Lol it was funny. Hatton only had about 3,000 tickets to give out and they were all cheering for him. But mid-way through the fight after Mayweather was up like 5-1. They were chanting "USA" after they booed the National Anthem which was pretty funny I thought.

I don't like those big headed guys either. But I don't mind that he says it because clearly he is the best we have in a while. One of the best in world. I guess it also depends on the sport and how well you can back up your talk.

Indeed, but even if you are the best boxer in the world, it still gives you no right to be ****y about it.

Like joe calzaghe is also considered one of the best boxers in the world, he is not big headed about it but a 15 year winning streak under his belt and i have great respect for the guy.

I can see a good side to this, it means hatton must train harder, and providing your guy dont retire like i have heard then a re-match would be awesome. You can only learn from your mistakes and become stronger for it.

Oh and about the "USA" thing, yeah thats funny, west ham fans (soccer) are like the best fans (alongside liverpool) we have, and when west ham are loosing the fans will chant "we're sh*t and we know we are" lol, that always makes me laugh. Good stuff lads.

I was talking to some USA lads on LIVE and they said that considering the fans were majorly outnumbered and on opositions turf they have got some front on them.

I says, yeah, manchester lads are off there heads, as im guessing most of the fans are from manchester. I am suprised a brawl didnt start, now that would have been some TV watching moments right there lol.

I just come across this:

BBC SPORT | Boxing | Calzaghe dismisses Hopkins tirade

That is going to be an amazing fight, our dude, but another weight class up... ouch.

I agree.

I'm sure there may have been a brawl in the parking lot or at a local bar in Vegas. Lol.

ROFL! @ the article.

""We have to put a stop to your invasion. You want to put us under the Queen's regime," Hopkins said.

"I'm the black Paul Revere [a hero of the American Revolutionary War] saying, 'the British are coming again'. ""

Priceless.
