Hey guys, my 16th b-day is coming up, and I really am at a cross roads at which console to get. I love Gears of War and Halo, which makes me want a 360, but the PS3 has Final Fantasy..
I played bamhm's PS3 Sunday and it was cool, but it didn't really blow me away but neither did the 360 when I played it at my friend's house. I don't want a Wii, either. I played one at Gamestop and the controls and gameplay were clunky. So I'm asking, which should I get? Constantine

Well Im not interested im ny 360 anymore, so Im trading it to a member on this board. Gears of war is a great game if you go to the 360. Also rainbow 6 vegas. Im going to get a ps3 soon because it will have killzone, metalgear, devil may cry and the kingdom heart series.
The 360 has a final fantasy game, not sure which one. It depends on what games you want to play. |

First off I hope you have a great birthday, and secondly, I'm being serious about this post, don't think I'm saying this because I'm supposedly anti-microsoft....
It depends on what you are looking into, here is a list I came up with off the top of my head...I know more about the PS3, so if I miss anything on the 360 tell me.... ***360*** Online service is already built and almost perfect More games due to having that extra year, this includes more exclusives The Elite will have 120GB HDD Elite comes with full 1080p due to the new HDMI port 2 USB ports ***Exclusive games*** Halo 3 Crackdown Gears of War (I love this game) Dead Rising That's all I know... ***PS3*** Online still "under construction", Home will change this...(hopefully) 60GB HDD 1080p HDMI port Hardware wise - The strongest console out there, has the potential to have better games in the future than 360 USB rechargeable controllers SIXAXIS Rumble is indeed coming back to the PS3, Sony got over the law suite Built in HD player (Bluray) Built in wireless adapter Reads PSP memory sticks, Compact flash cards and some other card reader 4 USB ports ***Exclusive games*** Resistance: Fall of Man Motorstorm Final Fantasy MGS4 Lair Killzone I wont post more...I don't want it to look like I'm favoring the PS3 because I'm only posting facts.... Well that's all I know man....hope that helped...

I dont enjoy playing the 360 any more really, the only games I ever play on it any more are gears and madden. And theres not really any games upcoming to draw me in. This year Im going to buy a ps3 and make it my new console not the 360.

I think you should get a PS3, I know you're into RPGs and the PS3 will likely have better ones like the PS1 and PS2. I also read in an interview earlier that MGS4 won't be coming to the 360, so if you wanna play it (I know I do) you need a PS3.

I have the 360, it is an awesome machine for my needs, i love xbox live, and feel that has the edge. But if i could afford one i would get a ps3.
So my answer is get a PS3, but that i no way means that i dont like my 360, or would i trade it for a ps3. Kev 8) |
