I just read from ryders post that rumble is coming back to the ps3.

What a scam, sony make out that they wont have it because of some law(cough bullsh*t) reason, release the ps3 WORLDWIDE. Then they say that a new controller will be available with the rumble feature. Let me guess, these will cost about £50 in the UK, am i right, or am i right?

Actually it was true that Sony and Immersion fought on something and weren't to good of friends, but Sony payed a couple Million dollars and everything is all good in the world of rumble...

No prices yet....

As of right now, I'm going to ask for the PS3. It makes more sense. A bunch of people have it on here, there's no paying for online, HOME looks awesome, Final Fantasy is on it, God of War is on it, MGS will be an exclusive, and it has awesome PSP intergration.

The only things that I'm missing are Crackdown, Halo 3, and Gears of War, but I can't be bothered with most of them (except Halo 3...)

Both have their merits... you need to consider what you want from it and be happy that you have played both enough to make a decent decision.

You know spec lists are all well and good but hands on makes all the difference... same as bikes or cars... on paper with the specs they can be portrayed as the mutts nuts but in the real world they can also suck if they don't fit your bill.

I adore my 360 and my only real concern is the 20gig hard drive. I have filled half of this now so it is not really an issue maybe just paranoia setting in hehehehehehe but that is my only gripe.

The PS3 has some issues that are being sorted now and that is a good thing.

Both units do a damn fine job, albeit in a different sort of way... so it is basically down to your own personnel preference as to which one suits you... and of course the dedicated games that you want to play.

What ever you decide I hope that you have a great Birthday.

Alright, I have come up with a master plan. I'm going to ask for the 360 Premium/Elite along with the wireless adapter and Gears of War for my birthday. After that I'm going to get a job once Wal-Mart opens, and start a little account where I can squirrel money away to buy a PS3 for FF and MGS.

Halo 3 and Gears of War look too damn cool to pass up.
