Default Movies On DS Lite

Hey!
My big sister has a new DS and wants to get one of those cards which you can run roms off of.
I read somewhere that you can also play movies off it....Is this true?
If not is there a any other way?

Thanks,Alex

Ps: Are those rom-runnable cards called flash cards?

Go here to download the software:

http://www.movieadvance.com/Download.htm

The actual software is under the first header next to number 4, called "Conversion software for Gameboy Advance". DS and GBA use the same software for conversion and the playback should be exactly the same.

You also need to download the update.e19 and you might want to also download the crystal engine. Don't download the codecs because they're just a waste of space - you won't really need to preview anything on the computer.

Go here for directions on how to use it:

http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/GBMREV/index2.htm

You will have to download direct x5 or higher if you don't have it. Follow the directions. (The packaged software that the article mentions is the same that you downloaded above.)

NOTE: You do not have to purchase a Compact Flash card, just use the card your sister bought. She should know how to transfer the files to the card. Put them in the same folders that you would on the CF card.

Cool, huh? Movies, music, photos, and even emulated games! (SNES, NS, etc). How big is your sister's card? I hope she can fit all of that there.

If you have any other questions or questions about the installation/converting/uploading process post here again. Man, it's gotten so much better from when I used to use it. :P

Wowowo! I just needed to know if it was possible! She doesn't have a card or anything. My uncle will do all the technical stuff 'cos i don't know anything about the DS. So what do i need to buy? Do the movies run off a flash card?
