Or here is an idea. Wait for your PS3 like I did for the 360. You know, until any initial hardware issues and shortages are sorted out? I can guarantee there will be problems with the hardware so wait for six months - you will have more choice of games and no problems getting the console.
Or do the really sensible thing and ignore the overpriced overhyped PS3 and get a 360 instead. That has an added advantage of being available now too.

not to let any of you down, but if I just bought a PS3 and walking out of a store with it, I'm going to have my wits about me, and I'm not going to let some teenager try and mug me to nick it, I'm gonna be carrying a knife or something with me...
I was freaking out when I was walking out of HMV after buying my PSP in a bag that had a big picture of the PSP on it saying "I've got one, have you?". I ran to my car! If I was buying a PS3, I'd have my car with blackout windows and grills on the windows, parked right outside the shop, with armed security guards by my side every single step of the way.

Yea, I'd cross the Wii off my list. The 360 looks like a GREAT machine and the few games I've played for it were AWESOME, so I'll have to try outa couple PS3 games before I can make my decision.
I more tempted to go to PS3 just because I've been loyal to SONY for about 10 years now.

Although the Xbox was more powerful than the PS2 I would still say Sony's device was the better one when all factors are considered. This generation is going to be reversed in my opinion.

you're probably right, x-box 360 will probably be the best available, but i'm looking for what would be the most fun to play.
Personally, I'd rather play multiplayer games than single player, I find gamind a very social thing, and the thought of 4 people playing mario tennis by swinging remotes around sounds wicked. Though graphics are an important factor, it isn't too important, whats important are the games and prices etc. Wii takes it for me. I will agree too with you about the PS3 being overhyped, the ps2 was better than the x-box, because of this, people just assume that ps3 will be better than 360. Time will tell.
