PSP IS BETTER THAN DS...DS SUCKS!
lol, j/k IMO the DS would probably have the best games ATM (nintendo usually have had the best games) but I went for the PSP just because of the screen size, its graphics and being able to store things on memory card. I really want to play New Super Mario Bros though, that looks wicked, is there a DS emulator for the PSP? if so then I might take the plunge to 1.5

I have both, and I like the DS a lot too. New Super Mario Bros is pretty amazing, (although not as good as SMW was on the SNES, or SMA3 on GBA). I think the DS Lite is a pretty cool handheld. Brain game is great for train journeys.

personally i dont hate the ds, my little brother has it and i guess he likes it, the only game i ever see him playing is warioware anyways
but from what hes told me the touch screen tends to die in certain places from repeated use, so the durability would be the only question in my mind if i were going to purchase it

OK...here's an example of an annoying DS fanboy:
This kid at my school (the cliche DORK...red hair, huge backpack, carries his lunch box around all day, short shorts, talks with a lisp, the whole nine yards) saw me playing my PSP before homeroom started. So he whips out his DS and starts telling me that DS is so much better than my PSP. I looked at him like "did I say you could talk to me?" as I was playing GTA:LCS. I said "how do you figure?", he says "Well, DS is water proof and if I drop it, it won't break". So I said "Oh darn, I always wanted to go swimming with my PSP" sarcastically. Then I just walked away, before he got me too angry. Because beleive me, I felt like ripping the damned DS out of his hands and saying..."OK let's see" and WHAM! into a million pieces...
