Bought by Microsoft a few years back and now work exclusively for the XBox 360. They originally started out as 'Ultimate - Play The Game' in the early eighties and any self-respecting Spectrum/C64 owner would tell you they made some of the best games at the time.

Check out the company profile here.

Also, check out a timeline of all their games from the beginning here.

I love thier games, I was just playing the Donkey Kong Country games a few days ago on my PSP. lol Nintendo should have bought them, that would've been cool, now I'll have to buy the more expensive system if I want to play their games.

I don't know if there is any truth to this... but i heard that the reason Nintendo dropped Rare was becuase of the game Conkers Bad Fur Day, it was an adult game, and i think it was too graphic for children, the box has a picture of the squirel drinking beer on it, and I think Nintendo got blamed for the game being so "mature", anyway thats when Nintendo dropped them...

thast what I heard

If you mean for the PSP, than last time I tried it went really slow, but it was originally for the SNES and that one ran well. But I'm guessing you mean for the computer since you have a newer FW, so I think you can. And I'm pretty sure that that game's made by RARE, because I think that Conker's Bad Fur Day was for the Nintendo 64 at first and the SNES came along before the N64.
