Did you notice the word 'about' in the quote? That means I can't recall the exact year but it was about that time - ie it could be 1998. This is 8-9 years ago after all. To say you're 'not questioning me or anything' then going on to ask four seperate questions in the manner you have says differently.

Anyway, to answer your question:-

- Sevenoaks.
- A Yamaha playerl that I can't recall the model number of.
- About £700.

SEVEN HUNDRED QUID!!! f*** me! I remember not being able to afford one but never realised they were that much!

The one we got was £30!

Like anything else you pay a premium to be amongst the first to own something.

Down the drain? No, not at all. I loved films. I don't like bikes but I wouldn't say someone who spent £12,000 on a superbike wasted their money.

And as for it still working you would have to ask the guy I sold it to about five years ago.
