Couldn't agree more. Over a console controller too.

Anyway, I will not post anything else in this thread as being the admin I need to moderate my own posting on occasion.

After reading all this..... a thread like this is based on opinions, if someone states an opinion whether in your eyes correct or incorrect you may ask them to validate their opinion or argue your case as why you think thier opinion is incorrect. This leads to a constructive debate (if you look at any thread between myself and Pagnell your will see constructive debate). You should never undermine anyone's opinion as narrow-minded unless it is blatently obvious (ie. racist remarks).

I'd say the N64 controller is 2nd on my list. It was a good controller, the only thing I didn't like was that there were three sections to it... and we (obviously) only have two hands. So there was a lot more moving your hand around to press the different buttons.

Well anyway, if i had to choose a controller for every console it would be the new ps3 contoller (but would need vibration on it) but i do like the xbox 360 controlers design better.

not necessarily, I never played any game where you had to move your hands about on the 64, most games either played with the middle and right hand bits (goldeneye) or the outer bits (tony hawks 1).

It's my fave controller as far as looks is concerned, but for comfortability i'd prefer the smaller x-box controller.

PS controllers are almost perfect, i just dont like the feel of them to be honest and find it quite uncomfortable to use the analogues (D-Pad gamer) as my thumb isn't long enough and slips off sometimes.
