just like playing NFS on the x-box, i sat for ages on the line not knowing how to accelerate!
The NES controller was cool IMO, only 8 buttons (including the D-pad), simple. wasn't the best though. in terms of comfortableness I reckon the smaller X-box controller wins (not the original bulky piece of crap)

Best controller ever? PS2 dualshock. Why do you think the changes to it are virtually zero on the PS3 one? Because you can't improve near perfection.
N64 controller was good but it was not ideal for certain games as it only had one analogue.

Ah yeah, the N64 controller was really one of the greats, however I always found the PS2 dualshock contoller to be the best.
@5u6k0n1t; I had the exact same thing happen to me on my friends xBox. I hate that controller

So why did they start to design the boomerang controller if they new that was the most comfortable controller. Its entirly opinion on comfort because peoples hands are different sizes. A considerable abount of members on this forum are kids with small hands (unless a tad strange) so things like the original xbox controller is going to be a bit of a pain. In terms of ease of use and "im better at this game on my controller" well thats only because it becomes instinct as to what button to press. I could get out of my car being able to drive it with ease and get into an £800,000 buggatti veyron and not be used to the shifting on it, dosent make the veyron a worse car. Just less known to your instincts.
