OK, so i'm thinking of getting a wireless router seeing as theres 2 laptops, a pc, a psp and a ps2 slim in my house.
My question is just about the ps2, i read that the slim version (which i have) has built in wifi card, is this true? and what do i need if i wanted to try some online play with my ps2? (never done it before)

I don't know where y'all got your information, but the Slim PS2 does NOT have a wireless adapter. It does have a built-in network card as opposed to the network adapter you used to have to buy seperately. You still have to plug in the ethernet cable to get online access. That or buy a Wireless Access Point. MS make's one for the Xbox and 360. The hardware doesn't know the difference. I've plugged in the MS Xbox Access Point into my PS2 and it worked fine. Oh well.....
