i hate rumble in games, bloody annoying, specially in racing games (wicked in FPS').
Motion sensing I think is quite a good idea, when i'm playing a racing game, most of the time im moving my head and leaning to turn the corners myself, even dodging walls and ducking under tunnels with my head (shows how involved you get).

But at the end of the day, IMO its just another ploy to keep up with the competitors that wont work anyway and will just make the controllers even more expensive

That will probably come as like a welcome disk, like the umd that came with the psp. Amusing for a while.

Yea, but what about when it's late, and you're tired and don't feel like jumping all around with the controller.. :?

Maybe they'll have a setting to turn motion sensing on/off

BUT. Imagine how awesome a boxing game would be(especially in first person view) if you were fully awake and energizied...you could be weaving and ducking. I would get REALLY into it and probably rip the controller out of the port.... ops:

Damnit. I liked the rumble. I thought it was because some greedy company decided to sue Sony over it?

Actually, it is, the company who patented rumble is called immersion, and sued sony for $90 million. Sony lost the case but wanted to battle it again and lost once more.

So they decided not to have rumble and come up with a lame excuse that the motion sensing wont work, even though immersion have said to sony they will help them get around this proble, and have already come up with 3 ways of having both sensing and rumble, but sony(being ignorant as they are) turned them down.
