Default How do you take apart the PS2?

Does anyone know a website with good pictures and a description of how to take the PS2 apart. My PS2's won't eject the CD when you press the egect button, it's not because the eject ribbon's cut, it's probobly because it got jammed, does so does anyone know how I would fix this or a website with instructions?

I couldn't find a tutorial with pictures, sorry. I don't know if this'll help, but to take it apart (if you don't know how already), just pop the little square clips off of the bottom and unscrew the screws. After that, the top should slide right off, but there'll be a ribbon attached so be careful. After that, it should all be a breeze since it's easy to see were everything is.

I fixed it, I have no idea what I did though... I took it apart, than cleaned the dust out of the case, than made sure the connections were tight and they were, so I pretty much did nothing, but at least it works

It did that to me a few times. In my case, the laser eye was a little dirty. I just took it apart and cleaned the laser eye with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip (spelling?). Fixes the problem everytime. It might be your disk (dirty or scratched) or your eye is ruined also.
