What they were actually referring to, was a FF compilation of sorts. They plan on releasing many FF games (no specific game were mentioned). But they mentioned taking charactors from other FF games and making a main stream game with them. Kind of what they are doing with Dirge of Cerberus and Vincent Valentine.

Did you even see it? With the kid with the half-vest have no shirt, and the long-haired prince, or king, or someone, and the hoverbike-riding bunny/cat lady...and the pirates...

hehe the way it reads....it sounds pretty gay.. I'm not sure to be honest. I read the overview and reports from the E3 show. I didn't see the whole video..only bits and pieces of it. But I paid special attention to the SE part of it and didn't see any reports listing that FF12 was for PS3.

Well if they could decide when they are going to release the PS3 maybe they'd be able to decide whether to make FF12 a PS3 game or not...

I'm telling you guys, it is. I was watching the PS3 meeting at e3, and the guy with the heavey japanese accent said that FF12 is going to be a big hit with the PS3 owners. (I had it on english subtitles.)

Bah, It doesnt matter, Im getting a PS3 anyway. So It can come out on PS3 or PS2 all it wants, although I'd Preffer PS2.

But if the game is 70% compleat already wouldnt it be hard to upgrade for the graphics and shuch?

Not really. Just use a different engine, and use normal-mapping instead of bump-mapping. It produces the graphics real-time, so nothing's pre-rendered except the CGI movies.
