I have the DirectX version I should have on disc but when I try to put it on my PC I think it wants me to connect to the internet, and on that PC I don't have the internet. This is annoying.

You don't need an internet connection to install DirectX, so long as you get the *real* installation file and not the web installer version that launches, then starts downloading. The web installer is only like 41 kilobytes whereas the full version is 33.4 megabytes.
You can download the full version from a variety of places, here is an example: Microsoft DirectX Drivers Redistributable 9.0c As mentioned before, burn a CD, toss on a USB flash drive, whatever you need to do to get it on the other computer. All set! Quote:

DirectX 9.0c is the highest one at the moment. It SHOULD be on the disc as that is how I got mine.
Failing that, it may either be your graphics card is not compatable with DirectX (Nvidia is) or you may need to buy another game which needs DirectX 9.0c and download it off that disc. (Movies has it as does Quake 4) Hope either of these help. |

Well it did say you need a DirectX graphics adapter AND Direct X drivers...
The problem isn't with the drivers. Here, I think this is the solution to your problem: http://forums.belution.com/en/directx/000/009/36.shtml

Thank you people, I really appreciate it. It's probably that the graphics card doesn't support DirectX 9.0c, but I'll try the things that you advice and the links, cheers.
