Shenmue 1 and 2 for the dreamcast were sweet as a nut! They were pretty much overlooked as very little people owned a dreamcast. I still consider them as two of my favourite games ever.

the dreamcast was a good piece of kit, the graphics were ok, the games were ll good, it was just damned UGLY!

while n64 had its sexy curves and ps1 was nice and compact, xbox was another tragic ugly box, almost the same with PS2, but again, sony came back with the sweet slimline ps2.

don't think it was that, there wasn't enough killer games for it, by that i mean games that define the console. Apart from shenmue the rest of the games IMO were pretty rubbish.

sony didnt focus on one game... sony had resident evil and the best games ever created, final fantasy! did the dreamcast of nintendo have those, no. sonic for dreamcast wasnt that good imo.

Sega is still developing games..the 2k series for example. ESPN has bought the naming rights to the game(s), but its not like they're the ones developing it. :wink:

Sega is still doing a *decent* job with game development, IMO.

I had a Dreamcast, I truly enjoyed it. Sega was just far too naive when they were creating it and the piracy that ran rampant killed the Dreamcast..and Sega console development all together.

man actually if u don like my opinion, its ur problem, i even respect u as administrator n' nothing else, besides if im criticizing something or someone, that's not u, and yes SEGA, because if they were great as u think, they should be in the market up to now.
