I too must admit this is the first I have heard about it.

I am unsure as to the comment about killing Microsoft... a bloody silly comment if ever I saw one. It is obvious that the chap had not understood it all in the first place.

Pagnell... your right like him or hate him Mr.Gates legal team are top notch and I am sure are guided by his micromanagement stye.
You don't get to be one ofd the richest geezers in the world without having the smarts.

Poor old Sony.... still I guess they paid the price for stealing anothers idea.... TOUGH.... get over it and move on.

^even if this didnt happen microsoft should die there os sucks compared to mac and linux..anyway hopefully sony wont turn out like sega sega owned and while they were ownging they went out of buisnes but sony isnt even owning and yet there still dieing and without sony microsoft wont have to get better this is gonna suck good thing i prefer computers over consoles :wink:

the only reason i like consoles better is because i have a really slow computer. maybe if mine was really nice id like it more than consoles. my dad used to have a nice comp and this airplane game with a joystick and i loved it. plus my friends talk about how good the online play is and such, like counter strike. when i go to college, im getting a better computer, so ill just have to be patient. (plus i know hardly anything about computers)

Well I think that's a little wacky. Almost in the calibur of patenting storylines.

That company just wanted to cash in on Sony's profit. If they really did invent dualshock first, why did they wait so long to sue? Unless this story was just made public I think they should have taken action at least 3 years ago. I'm also dissapointed at the jury and the judge because it like they tried to sue people who sell computer mice. The dualshock idea isn't new or innovative, its so obvious that anyone could think it up. It was only a matter of time.

Agreed (apart from the MS bit). But when you work in the city maintaining and jumpstarting Unix boxes ten hours a day, it's nice to have some mindless blasting when you get home :wink:
