Final Fantasy XI on Xbox 360 - PSP-Forum.com

The only reason I was holding off on the Xbox 360 was because of the rumors of the PS3 system's capabilities. After hearing some people's oppinions, most people said half of the features that Sony says is going to be on it, won't. So then I thought that I'd get the PS3 for the games such as FF. Well, after searching the web I found out that most of the PS3 games will be on the 360, along with FF. I already own a bunch of Xbox games, most of which will work with the 360. I also love Xbox Live. What do you think? FF is the reason a lot of people will want the PS3, but now it's on the 360 also.

isnt it just ffXI thats going to be on the 360? if thats the case then i could care less, but if not, then i dunno which console to get :?

I can tell you for sure that a lot of the numbers Sony is throwing at stat whores is just for hypes sake. I know someone on the inside track and he confirmed for me that Blu-Ray tech alone is enough to push PS3 back much farther than people think.

The tech market is not ready for the price of Blu-Ray just yet. Especially on a video game system. Stand alone tech is almost 2 grand.

FF VII was a tech demo.

I have commented on this before and will repeat myself here.

WAITING FOR THE PS3 PURELY FROM A TECHNICAL POINT OF VIEW IS A BIG MISTAKE. I have absolutely no doubt the console will not be as impressive as Sony would like us to believe - they are shovelling the sh*t to stop people buying the 360 as they know it will severely hit their PS3 sales. They did exactly the same with the PS2 to stop people buying the Dreamcast and it ended up being a technical disappointment - the much touted 'emotion' chip turned out to be nothing but a fancy word and over-the-top bullsh*t hype. I would be very surprised if the difference between the two is more than the difference between the PS2 and the Xbox and in my opinion that isn't reason enough to wait.

Games wise, it is swings and roundabouts. For every PS3 exclusive there is a 360 one. You say GTA, I say Halo 3. I'm not that fond on either game myself but you get my point.

C'mon FF isn't all that great right? well..umm..mabye it is,but point is theres gonna be a nice nasty batch of hot PS3 games in 07' OR 2006,including MGS:Guns of the Patriots.This here game will make everybody forget about FF.EVERYBODY!!!
