Maybe for you but unless it is completely different to all the other MGS games so far you can stick it. Bad controls, crap camera angles and too many stupid dreamy movie sequences. I personally find the Splinter Cell games totally superior in every way.

What can you say about MGS4? It's going to be awesome. By the time I have time to play with a PS3 and save enough money, I can have a PS3 with MGS3: Subsistence and MGS4 on it. Then maybe I'll snag FF7 and the Advent Children playable game too, as a bonus.

i think you guys are right about the ps3 not going to be as good as they say, but being a sony fan, i would rather get that than the 360. i dont expect the best, but i do think it'll be just as good as the 360 and imo maybe better. if i could afford both then id get them, but i only have enough for one, and if i get the 360, then i have no chance of getting ps3. plus, i prefered the ps2 over the xbox. i like ps games like ff and gta, and i like xbox games like and doa. too bad these things arent cheaper....

I'm planning on getting the 360 in the summer after I've saved up a bit more. I might get the PS3 a very long way down the road, but I think everyone is right in saying it won't be as good as it's hyped up to be.

It's all about opinions Megaman. You say MGS4 is going to be awsome but I personally think the MGS series is crap so I would say the opposite and as a result it would have little effect on my choice of console purchase. Likewise for the FF games - nothing but Japanese gibberish in the disguise of an RPG. I know a lot of people will disagree which is fair enough - it's called subjective discussion.

Well let's face it, they ****ed up Metal Gear for the PSP. What's going to stop them from doing the same thing on the PS3? And I will NOT be getting one. The PS2 sucked, and I'd rather not trust sony with my home console again.

The PS1. That was amazing.
