Okay,heres why the PS3 will Possibaly be better then the 360.As we all now know,360 rules online play.Heck,they brought online play to the concels.I have to say 'yes' it is better then PS2's online by a mile,2 miles,a lot.But as far as online goes for the next generation concel wars,It seems like X-box is leading here.I don't know what Nintendo got's going for them in online.See online play is growing,microsoft know's it,Sony knows it.Sony KNOWS that Micrsosoft has it made in online gameing,wich is why no doubt they are awaer of it.No doubt they will try to beat it,or fail trying.The univers as a tendensy to unfold if shell should.and hey,microsofts online is amazeing,works smooth,as ps2's is not.But will see all this online gameing happen,and will see the results.

As for gameing.Sonys cleary the lead dog here.This is were Sony's strong,as XBOX isn't.Sure XBOX gots Dead or alive,and halo series,But Sony's got MGS,GTA (Im not too sure if this will be a PS3 inclusive) Tekken,Devil may cry,and a whole lots others that XBOX dosen't have.Sony is clear winner in the lunch dates,and a whole new batch of games will be born with the PS3.

As for graphics,Microsoft's XBOX 360 looks simply amazing.PS3,well you actally haven't seen it's graphics in action..only screenshots.Yeah some look like crap,but screens don't mean anything.Not even a trialer!! you HAVE to play the game to get max experiance.Plus,this new blue-rays thing s=Sony's got going,it holds a lot of info,and it could be easy to work with,providing better graphics,and better everything.

Plus,about the PS3 controller..it looks like a freggen banana bommer-ang.
Looks unconfertable,and looks like i wont enjoy it.Course I will have to play with it to fully judge it.I have held the 360's controller,it's all right,but what Nintendo has.A remote control with a little joy stick...that sucks and i don't even have to feel it to judge it.It the facts it sucks!

Agomae, that is well put together and considering English is evidently not your first language, superbly written.

However, can I suggest you read through what you have written again. I say this as you make just as many points in Microsoft's favour as in Sony's which goes against your underlying argument of the PS3 being a better choice.

And on the thread subject of the delayed release, a report on IGN today:-

'The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported this morning that the Playstation 3 has been delayed until November 2006. The postponed launch is the result of the delays on the part of the AACS forum in finalizing the copy protection scheme for Blu-ray Disk. Other components of the PS3, such as the highly complex 9 core Cell processor, are believed to be on schedule.'

Yes, very good opinions Agomae. I do agree that Sony has more good games next to Microsoft, but who knows the 360 could spark more gaming ideas and Microsoft could catch up. Many people would disagree on Microsoft not having as many good games, but it's all about what you're into. I have played a lot of PS2 games and I have to admit I like more PS2 games than I do Xbox, but then again a lot of Xbox games I've never played. Still getting the 360 though.

Nintendo seem to be drifting down the WiFi route, as shown in the DS. Plus, alot of Nintendos back catologue is avaliable from online which is an added incentive. If they can get it to work as seemlessly as it does on the DS then they will have a decent online system. However, The PS2 Online was rubbish. Admit it. At the moment, we don't know whether they will try to rival Live or will infact go another direction. I read recently that Sony are thinking about allowing downloads of all their back catologue, similar to Nintendo "Now do you know why Nintendo keep everything hidden!" Online gaming is the future however, it will be the offline content which will most scrutanised in the end.

MGS is debatable. GTA is also debatable. Though I do accept that Tekken is Sony Exclusive. However, XBOX has Halo, KOTOR, Project Gotham Racing plus the added incentive of the Live Arcade. Whether Sony can put together an online experiance to rival Live is yet to be seen.

Only if they use a higher standard of Blu Ray. If they use the 1X drive, which is what is to be expected, then it will infact be slower than the XBOX360s drive. This doesn't affect graphics, but it does affect speed of loading times. It was recently said that a 20 second wait on the XBOX360 will equate to 60 seconds on the PS3. If Sony want to match the speed, they'll have to use a 2X Drive in each one. But this will further push the price up past £400 as the higher speed Blu Ray Drives cost more as they are a new technology.

Until you've held one and played the games with the controller then no body knows. Remember, without Nintendo, we wouldn't have the D-Pad. As for the XBOX360 controller, its a nice piece of kit but hardly a big move from the original is it?

No, the 360 controller is basically the same as the Xbox, but smaller. Why change it though? It fits great in your hand and is really comfortable.
