That just looks annoying and uncomfortable to me rather than 'completely different'. I have read up about Nintendo's next gen console and the only thing revolutionary about it is the name. Still, it should be worth buying (with a third party controller) but let's not pretend it's something it isn't.

EAs head recently said that when they got the Revolution development kit, they where surprise by how powerful it really was compared to what they thought it would be. Maybe we'll all be surprised? Probably not though. Just get the 360 and be happy.

Well, I am coming into some money, but I need it for things other than video games, like a new computer. So it's really one or the other for me right now. I have played the 360(my friend has one) and I love it. I'll probaly get the 360 after hearing some opinions. Plus, I really want to play Halo 3 when it comes out.

If I ever play the revolution, I'd probably be like "WTF? This feels familiar!"

Well I'm getting a PS3 because I have a lot of PS2 games already and I want to play many games that are coming out on the PS3. The features list is really cool, but if none of them make it to the final, at least it'll still have the internet connection. :P

Doesn't XBOX360 overheat or something? :?

Only cause idiots put them in overly heated areas with the cord on the floor.

The XBOX has a year head start in which to base its foundations before Sony show up. A year Sony will have to make up at some point if its to be claimed the overall winner of the next generation.

As for the Revolution, thats aimed at a different market as far as I can tell. Until the initial batch of games are released or become known, we won't be able to tell if its going for the general gamer or targeting the Nintendo Hardcore.

Pricewise, the Playstation has stiff competition from its competators. If it does hit the £400 mark then thats likely to put off people from immidiatly buying the console, instead either waiting for the prices to drop or they'll just buy the cheaper and slightly less powerful XBOX 360. As for the Revolution, God only knows where thats going....
