i've never heard about this iRiver thing o_O i bet it will make the same end as Gizmondo (<--sucks)
(and no one will ever take down DS, it's waaaaaaaaaay better than PSP imho. But i also think this thing won't kill PSP either o_O) |

first off playing with double screen is funnier You have to think that PSP and DS are made as gaming consoles but PSP is no more than a multimedial center, most people use it for emulate old nintendo games Then *most important thing* nintendo DS covers ALL kinds of players including girls and children, have you ever seen a girl playing with winning eleven? I got wipeout and ridge racer and i can easily fall asleep while playing them z_Z On the other hand nintendo ds has games for everyone like yoshi (<- cute!) kirby (<-so cute!) trauma center, another code, ouendan and so so so much more i can say them all IMHO the only one good game for PSP is lumines but unfortunately there's a game for nintendo DS called Meteos made by the same Lumines' team that totally ROCKS (best game for DS for me) sorry but FOR ME there's no match, I hope sony will make soon games for all targets (and that they'll go outside japan) sorry that i went OT, i should have said it in a console war topic or something forgive me boss <3 |

You don't like Wipeout and Ridge Racers? Fair enough, you obviously don't like racing games and I can relate to that to an extent. However, you seem to think that because of this the PSP isn't as good a machine which is a strange way of forming an opinion. You are also wrong about 'most people using it to emulate old nintendo games' - this is simply not true as the vast majority of PSP owners wouldn't even know what homebrew is. You claim Lumines is the only good game for the PSP but you have offered no evidence you have played anything other than this and the two racing games mentioned earlier so it seems you are not in an position to say this with any authority. I'm not going to sit here and claim the PSP's vastly superior graphics and processing power make it a better system because that isn't the case - I just think overall it has more future potential to be a winner in the long run and I prefer it as a games machine as well as a 'multimedial center'. But, to be honest, both systems are too different to compare directly. I like to think of the DS as a Yorkshire Terrior - small, friendly, cute and it is nice to play with now and then. However, his paranoid and insecure owner is always ****ed off and jealous his lovable canine isn't as big, clever or as good looking as his neighbour's Rottweiler. I don't need to tell you what the Rottweiler is.

PSP has the potentiality of becoming a great gaming machine...but it hasn't good games (yeah it depends on tastes) Quote:
i was waiting so much for suikoden (the only game worth to be bought) but it's said it won't go outside japan  why do we only get crap games? I'm disappointed that they don't cover all kinds of players outside japan PSP has a great potentiality, great graphic, nice design (i agree that DS is ugly, has a bad graphic and those 2 screens are small and lame compared to PSP) but power is nothing without control ;p when i want to watch a movie on the train or play with gbc/snes/nes roms i use PSP, but when i want to have fun i use a DS Quote:
and by the way i can find DS games at 19 euro in most of stores but PSP games are always around 49  and don't forget that DS can play also GBA games [OT] can anyone explain me the difference between lending and borrowing? i just don't get it o___O [/OT] |

There is nothing wrong with prefering the DS to the PSP or even posting about it on here - especially if you own both like you seem to. It just needs to be backed up by a decent argument instead of doing what most DS owners on here when they post things like 'The DS is best and the PSP suckz!!!'.
You prefer the DS and have stated why - nothing wrong with that. You are still wrong though

once final fantasy 7 crisis core and gran turismo mobile come out, it will make the ds look bad imo. :P (i dont know if you knew asph or if was mentioned above, but i have a strong feeling that you'll really like that game)
