£400 is what I've been told in several game stores when I've enquired. With games in the £55-60 bracket according to one shop.
Sorry, but that is abit too rich for my blood. <Edit> The first post was in reply to Pagnalls first comment. Sorry, I missed your post. ![]() |

This is indeed going to be true. People have been going back and forth on both sides about which is a better system between Xbox and PS2, but each puts out a wonderful gaming experience. In my opinion, it just comes down to the smaller details that appeal to each gamer individually. Design, type of games, and even just the brand name of Microsoft or Sony is pretty much the deciding factor for most buyers because the systems are equally impressive. I think this will indeed hold true for the new systems coming out now and for the future of each console for years to come. It's just personal preference really.

if I have to choose between the xbox 360 and the ps3 I“ll have to go with the 360, not because I am a xbox fanboy, but because it seems to be good, simply enough. I like the ps3 machine also, but the controller.... , lets face it a bomerang was not the gaming revolution everyone was waiting for but sony has good games on the list, and the machine is powerful, but I wouldnt wanna be a game developer for the ps3, they say its ( and it probably is ) a pain in the ass to program stuff for a seven cored cpu  but I am hoping...

oh yeah, right I forgot that.
ops: surely the Sega has made great things, but even though the dreamcast was so very nice ( some people say, I dont ) the ps2 was the "segakiller", doesnt matter how you look at it... dont get this wrong, I like Sega, they did some nice classics and is still doing things, dont remember what it is right now but.... I think this is a bit off subject anyways
