No I don't. I'm pointing out that Microsofts position in the market isn't as strong as many believe. The PSP would take all third party games meaning that developers would have to choose between the PSP and XBOX Portable. And considering the PSPs strong position in the handheld market and considering that most of the XBOXs best games are ports across all consoles, (With Halo and KOTOR as two exceptions) there would be no strong base for an XBOX console in your hand.

I would buy the Xbos portable as I appreciate the quality of the Xbox units and the games I have played on my sons... a great system in the Xbox.

This could have been said of Microsoft and the console industry before they began work on the Xbox. Gate's has a lot of money to burn (which is what he did when the Xbox launched) but he stuck with it and now the Xbox 360 is in position to make Microsoft a lot of money.

These corporations are always looking a few years ahead. Just because Microsoft isn't involved in the handheld market now doesn't mean they can't be a player in it later.

The question is, how much later.
