Well, as long as we're comparing, I'm sitting on a 1.4 gig Celeron with 384 megs of RAM. I've also got a 128 meg G-force 5200 series under the hood. I can run UT original in 640x480 with all detail levels jacked up, and anti-aliasing set to 2xQ to smooth jagged edges, with relative ease. I can double the res to, say, 1024x768 and it'll start to hiccup.

Keep FPS's where they belong.. On a Insane PC. Seriously how can anyone play a shooter on a console? The mouse and keyboard is the only way to play them.
some of my favs. CS:S, HL2, UT2004, COD, BF2, HL. Wow I rose this thread from the dead. |

Hi! I'm new around here...

They really aren't that hard to find on a keyboard. If you've taken a typing class then you should automatically know where they are. If not, then talking on forums, chatting or anything else on the internet should have taught you by now the keyboard.
I, too, agree that FPSs belong on the keyboard and mouse setup. You're able to make so many more commands and you can do all these types of maneuvers that just aren't possible on a controller...not to mention MUCH more precise aiming. My favorite online game: StarCraft followed by Battlefield 1942
