Default HDMI to.... help!

I'm rather annoyed with myself. I bought a new PC because it seemed to make more sense than purchasing a new HD and copy of Windows. However, the graphics card I picked only has HDMI as the second output. Does anyone know if it's possible to connect HDMI to S-video or scart? I really liked playing PC games and watching videos through my TV but now I can't!

Nope, I don't think its possible. You really should get a new monitor instead. If you have a GPU with HDMI as a second output, I'm pretty sure your TV is faaaaaaaaaaaar too poor quality for that thing.

Thought that might be the case... thanks anyway!

Vista is completely annoying. Yes I'm SURE I want to copy that harmless file to another folder. Sheesh...

Turn that off. Press start, type in msconfig, press enter, go to tools, select Dissable UAC, and press launch.

nice one, thanks!

I was going to install my old graphics card alongside the new one, to switch between them when I want it to go through my DVD player but no AGP slot... argh... I really didn't research this PC beforehand!

There's not even a spare PCI slot to pick up a cheap on from ebay.

I'm not sure where you're from, but I bet newegg's got one.

If you've got a monitor with a DVI plug on it, not just a cable leaving it with a DVI port on the end, this would work.

Ah ok so you want to dual screen. One for the monitor and the other for a TV. I know newegg has it, I just can't find it. Give me some time.

EDIT: Here you go. Plus that into your DVI port and use this to connect you monitor through the HDMI port. If your using a standard definition TV then your stuck. If an HDTV then use some of these to connect to it.
