Um, no. No no no no no. Sony doesn't need Microsoft, all they're good at is producing mediocre software at most. Sony on the other hand is a world leader in hardware, just look at the 360 and PS3. 360 has a 33% failure rate (that's 1 out of every 3 console sold will brake) and the PS3 has like 1% failure rate (1 out of 100 PS3s will brake). If anything Sony should team up with Apple and start using Mac OS on their computers and take down the monopoly that is Microsoft.

I agree with Ryder, this is not a good idea. What good could a software company with only a few years of hardware experience bring to a harware giant like Sony?
I could see Microsoft joining up with Nintendo and Sony by making games and apps for their systems, but Microsoft needs to just stop spreading themselves thin and quit making inferior hardware products IMO. I think the 360 is a fantastic idea, and there are lots of good games out for it, but the hardware is absolute sh*t. |

Thats my 2p on it, i would like to see the figures of both companies, would be interesting. Another random piece of knowledge is that coca cola used to be the largest profit making firm in the world. Kev ![]()

I was listening to the radio the other day and the DJ had a triva question. Something like what industry that accumulated 18 Billion in sales last year did women pay almost 1/2 of, if that makes sense.... Anyways, point I'm trying to make is that in 2007 alone, videogames made a total of just about 18 Billion dollars. If Sony sold out based SOLEY on that number, and if Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft each got 1/3 of it, than Microsoft would have to pay 6 Billion dollars, and Sony isn't JUST videogames, they've also got laptops, printers, cameras, and just about every electronical thing you can think of.
Going on a big of a tangent again, main point I'm trying to make is that it'd bankrupt Microsoft if they bought out Sony. I know that you hate Microsoft Ryder, but I also think it'd be a terrible idea if Sony and Apple joined into 1 team, it's a bias opinion, but I hate the Mac operating System, so I wouldn't EVER buy a Sony laptop if they had the Mac OS on them. Also, Mac's fine on their own with their hardware. |

Also, i could bet alot that Sony could never buy out microsoft. That would be really bad either way anyways, competition is good. And bamhm, yeah apple are doing fine on their own, i doubt they would team up. Kev ![]()
