I've got Vista, it's alright, if it weren't for the awesome looks and stuff of Vista, than I'd probably be using XP, just because Vista is such a ram whore. I've got 1 GB of Ram, which is alright... Most the time, but I would LOVE to have at least 2 gigs because it'd run SO much better. Right now all I've got running is firefox and it's using wow, didn't expect it to be that much, it's using 82% of my ram, and like 70% of my CPU, that can't be right... god, guess it is, it just must have been thinking of doing something when it was at 70%, now it's at 30%, but still using 80% of my RAM... explorer.exe is using 100MBs of Ram by itself, that must be Aero's fault, or Dreamscene.

I guess you've got a point there, still, you won't catch my trading my PC for a Mac anytime soon.
I had to use a Mac all year last year pretty much, 50 minutes or 1 1/2 hours depending on what day it was, every day during Website design class. I didn't like it, I would have much rather done it on a PC. |

Yeah, I'm the same way. When I was at CU for college, all the computer labs were filled with Macs, but I still couldn't get used to them. They're nice and all, but they just seem backward to me.

well when it comes to mac os its different....everything is switched around or re-worded!! like you have the start menu and stuff at the top of the screen instead of the bottom like windows machines....and you keep all your program icons on the dock station at the bottom for mac compared to having them stacked on the left hand side in windows.
its stuff like that...that's makes people not wanna go to mac cause it does take getting used too |

I have an 8800GTS 640Mb and I've had it for a while. You should be able to get one for way less than $500-600
Mine cost me £240 when it was new and that was a while back. You yanks usually get stuff cheeper than us anyway. Also look up the 8800GT
