I wish Absinthe was legal here in the U.S. I've heard awesome things about it. I also heard it tastes like sh*t though unless you drink it with sugar or something like that. What is it that makes it better than alcohol iyo?

It is alcohol, its just 80% (160 proof), the stuff I drink anyway.... tastes like liquorish. I've had a couple shots earlier on tonight. Powerfull sh*t.

Most shots of Absinthe I've had in one go was 6, coupled with 7 shots of Apple Sourz, 2 jack daniels, 2 aftershocks and 2 pints of Strongbow all in about 3 hours... I was completely and utterly smashed.

is it really illegal in the US? that sucks

anyway back to telly's, I think I might look for a slightly smaller size TV that will have 1080p, all depends on the price. I'm going to have it at the foot of my bed so it doesn't need to be massive.
What TV's do you guys use?

I have a 32" CRT.

I dont think the difference is worth the price atm

The highest I've seen here in regular liquor stores is 100 proof. 160 Proof! Damn, that's like that home-made Moonshine that the south is so hip on.

HDTV-

I've heard that with screens under 40" (don't know how many cm that is) you cannot really notice the difference between 720p and 1080p.

So my advice, od, would be to not worry about the 1080p if you are planning on getting something under 40"/

Absynthe-

Yeah it's illegal in the U.S. The reason it's illegal here is it was believed to have hallucinogenic properties (although there's no evidence this is true).

That's why I was asking if it gives you a different feeling than alcohol. Apparently not.

Anything that makes you hallucinate is illegal here.

Than again, it's probably a good thing they're illegal because they sound like fun and if they were legal, I'd probably be doing them.

Not Salvia. It's legal and It will make you trip your face off for about 2 minutes but you need someone SOBER there with you. Watch the videos and you'll understand. I've never tried it myself but I've heard mixed stories.
