Default CD Drive

my cd drive isnt currently opening. my sister had put a cd in there when i was out and idk what it could have done, unless there were two cds stuck together or something. the button isnt working and the eject thing under my comp isnt working either. the green button that normally flashes when i select it isnt going off either. but it does play the music that is on there

any help?

Mechanism is jammed, or broken.

Try taking te whole thing out and taking it apart.

Thats what i would do anyway... big hammer time!

Have a look at the front of the drive, is there a really small hole? If there is get a paperclip or something and unbend it and poke it in that button and press. Most drives have a feature like that to manually eject disks if (for example) the motor isn't working or the little drive chain has come off (that happened to me once)

If that doesn't work then chances are its physically jammed and will have to be taken appart
