yeah, they're brilliant, my mate has one and he loves it, you can do soooo much on it it's unbelievable, so much better than a laptop with windows, I love the picture morphing on it

I hate Mac (barf!) I have to say though, they're looking better as they make new stuff... Still a tad overpriced though IMO.

yeah, with the student discount I'd say the price kind of evens out. Its a powerful laptop too. 2.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1Gb 667Mhz RAM, 160Gb HD. It starts up in less than 10 seconds.

Nice, though im no fan of apple OS's. But i would spend my money on other stuff if i had it.

i'm always tempted to go for macs, the OS in the macbook is very easy to use, if I had the money I would get one straight away, especially after having a go on one..but it is a lot of money.

the way my mate has got it is through renting it, paying around £30 a month for it and when a new one is released, he can go and get the new one.

If I had money, I'd get a Windows based machine, probably one meant for Vista, but than uninstall Vista and get XP when I get it.

I'm with Kev on this one. I really like Apple's design, but I just can't get used to the OS. Nice computer though.

Personally I've been using OS X on and off for a while now. For example my school has four iMacs which were dedicated for video editing which I did alot of for the school. The OS takes a bit of getting used using it long term but I'm pretty comfortable with it already having only had this laptop for a few days.

Plus, since its Intel based I can dual boot it into XP if I so choose.
